Steve Allen – Biography
Steve Allen is a name at the forefront of the next generation superstar’s breaking through the scene. A DJ, Producer and Label Manager whose unique style has seen him feature on every major DJ’s playlist.
As a DJ, Steve has played alongside the likes of Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk, for major brands across the UK and in Eastern Europe. Steve’s ever growing profile has landed him guestmixes on Tiesto’s official radio show “Clublife”, Kiss FM and nominations at the “Trance Awards” two years running.
Steve also heads up two highly successful labels, one being “Excessive Pressure”. A label that has been supported by the biggest DJ’s around and achieved countless Top 10 hits.
The second being a new brand set to shake up the Trance and Hard dance scene. “AWsum White” A collaboration between Steve and one of the biggest names in hard dance “Andy Whitby” aims to bridge the gap between the two genres, whilst continuing to push the boundaries of dance music.
Production wise, Steve has had a number of chart topping hits, with his most recent single “Virgin Bitch” hitting number 1 on Trackitdown’s sales chart. Countless other productions have seen support by the worlds biggest DJ’s in their live sets and radio shows, including Armin Van Buuren (A State Of Trance), Tiesto (Clublife), Paul Van Dyk (Vonyc), Above & Beyond (Trance Around The World), Markus Schulz (Global DJ Broadcast), Judge Jules (BBC Radio 1) and Ferry Corsten (Corstens Countdown). Few can boast the labels that have featured Steve’s productions, including Vandit, Armada, Shah Music, Digital Society, Nukleuz, Monster.
With such high profile releases gaining the support listed above, Steve has gained the confidence to evolve his sound, and produce a number of different styles.
Steve diversity as a producer does not end in the studio, this also shines through as a DJ. With him being competent in all styles from tech edged progressive all the way through to uplifting, and hard tech trance, opening the spectrum for him to perform at any time of the night!
As an engineer, Steve works with some of the scenes brightest talents. Here Steve can really show his diversity, by producing many styles that have featured on every major DJ’s playlist and have been released on labels such as Vandit.
2010 holds very exciting times for Steve, with releases and remixes on many labels, events all over the world and a new podcast “Fuel Of Life” launching in January!
