Stu James – Biography
Over the last few years Stuart James' unique flowing sound of driving tech beats, lucious melodies and euphoric breakdowns - intertwined with the abilty to adapt to any time of the night and play with a more subtle and progressive approach - have won him many followers and regular guest appearances up and down the country including UK superclub Passion and JFK's Live and Loud Events.
Uk DJ and Producer Stuart James, has pushed all the right buttons for the dedicated 'trancelings' that roam some of the hottest nightspots across the midlands and beyond.
After appearing at various nights and events such as Frisky in Northampton, Fixation in Nottingham, Alchemy in Sheffield plus a live mix for BPM radio, Stuart's ascendance came in the shape of competition's.
2004 seen Stuart come second in the emporium competition, seeing off around 400 other entrants. The competition took Stuart to new height's and propelled him to his full main room debut at the midlands superclub at the age of 22, performing the closing set for a 'PASSION vs SLINKY' event alongside JOHN 00 FLEMMING, TALL PAUL and AGNELLI and NELSON. It also led to a string of appearance's for PASSIONs' 'Next Generation' series in 2005 and 2006 plus a warm up set for trance legend GUY ORNADEL.
Competitions seemed to go pretty well for Stuart as 2004 brought another runners-up place, this time being for GUY ORNADEL's MINISTRY OF SOUND 'Future' competition. A couple of months later Stuart appeared alongside FILTERHEADZ to perform a Progressive mix on Guy Ornadels' 'Future' show for MoS Radio.
In 2006 Stuart was asked to play for JFK's Live and Loud after a handful of impressive performances for future talent and sister night Live & Kicking. Making his debut on the LIVE and LOUD vs WILDCHILD event, Stuart graced the decks alongside JUDGE JULES, TYLOR LEIGH and of course JFK. Another faultless display and Stuart was booked continuously for Live and Loud performing most recently alongside BBC Radio 1's EDDIE HALLIWELL.
Stuart James also holds a residency with Internet Radio Station Sense.FM with his 'Nu Revolution Sessions' show being broadcast every 2nd saturday of the month as well as making guest appearances on other radio shows.
On the production side of things, Stuart has been hard at work in the studio with productions and remixes set for release on Nu Depth Recordings.
